This role works with the development teams including Software, Hardware and Systems teams to define the requirements, architecture and design of the PETMR software.

This role will provide expert guidance and support to the software team in various technical/functional aspects of research, development and engineering.

Essential Responsibilities: – Specifying the requirements for PETMR software working with systems, hardware, marketing and clinical application teams.

- Driving the definition of PETMR software architecture and design including interfaces with firmware, hardware and other software subsystems- Leading software teams through the entire design cycle including requirements generation, design, documentation, and implementation, verification & validation- Interacting with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platformsQualifications/Requirements: 1.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related computer field, OR Bachelor s Degree and 4 years of technical experience in software development2.

Embedded software development, that is, the development of embedded software such as used for controlling consumer products, requires the development process to be integrated with the development of the controlled physical product.

A minimum of 8 years experience in developing complex system software with atleast 2 years of it in the role of a software architect3.

A software release life cycle is the sum of the phases of development and maturity for a piece of computer software: ranging from its initial development to its eventual release, and including updated versions of the released version to help improve software or fix bugs still present in the software.

Object oriented design patterns typically show relationships and interactions between classes or objects, without specifying the final application classes or objects that are involved.

Demonstrated experience in team leadership and ability to give technical direction to the team7.
